Today is day 4 of the The SITS Girls Back to Blogging Challenge. Today’s prompt is “Ten Things I’m Thankful For” which is perfect because I was actually sitting here thinking about what I am thankful for.
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. All of my relatives live in different states and Thanksgiving is a time where me and my family travel to visit them or they come to us to celebrate. Even though it’s a little over two months away, now is the time we start planning whose house we”ll be celebrating at, making travel arrangements, etc. As I was sitting here thinking about the holiday I realized how God has truly blessed me and my family this year and how I have so much to be thankful for. Thanksgiving is a holiday but we must remember to be thankful every day of the year. Here are 10 things that I am thankful for in no particular order:
1. Being able to work at home sharing my gift of encouragement with others to raise a healthy, spiritually sound, emotionally well, socially responsible family.
2. Having a loving and supportive husband.
3. Having two adventurous, fun, smart and well behaved kids.
4. My Young Living business which allows me to be able to share with others how to invest in their family’s health naturally and be able to earn a healthy income from home.
5. Being able to be a stay at home mom.
6. Being able to volunteer at my children’s school and with my church to help those in need in our community.
7. Having good friends.
8. Meditation. It’s amazing what you can learn about yourself when you are quiet.
9. Understanding what real love is.
10. Forgiveness. I’ve experienced so much growth in my life and business by being able to forgive myself and others.
